A video of the blast at the famous Spin Masjid in Peshawar and its adjoining madrassa, Jamia Zubairiya, has surfaced, showing the blast in the middle of a lecture.
Mufti Sirajul Hassan, spokesman for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Federation of Madrassas, confirmed the video.
The video shows Rahimullah Haqqani, the madrassa’s superintendent, reciting a hadith before the blast. According to reports Mohtam Sahib was safe in the blast.
He said in Pashto: ‘(The dead) hear people and they see. Rational Objection and Rational Answer: When it comes to hadith, then what is the need for investigation?
There is a hadith attributed to Ibn Abbas:
أَحَدٍ مَّرَّ بِقَبْرِ أَخِیہِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، کَانَ یَعْرِفُہٗ فِي الدُّنْیَا، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَیْہِ، إِلَّا عَرَفَہٗ، وَرَدَّ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامَ۔‘
When Maulvi Sahib reached here, there was an explosion, the camera overturned and a stampede and noise started.
The translation of this hadith is: “Whoever passes by the grave of a believing brother who knew him in the world and greets him, he will surely recognize him and respond to the greeting.
Anila Khalid, a Maulvi Hezbollah cleric at the madrassa, said: “At the time of the blast this morning, seventh grade students were taking classes, which is an MA level party. The students ranged in age from 20 to 23. These students were studying the famous book of Hadith, Mishkat Sharif.
A video of Maulana Rahimullah Haqqani currently circulating on social media has surfaced from the madrassa’s live footage website. According to reports, the lessons given in the madrassa were not only listened to daily by the students in the class but also broadcast online through a website. That’s why a video of this lesson was being made.
