According to media reports, Bilal Farooqi, a journalist belonging to Express Media, was arrested by the police from his house in DHA on a Facebook post regarding the Armed Forces. The petitioner against him is a machine operator in a factory.

The FIR, available to Pukhtun Nama, states that the post by journalist Bilal Farooqi contained religiously controversial remarks, while the post contained statements about the armed forces that the enemy could use for his own use.
