The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Archaeological Department has set up houses in Peshawar to convert the ancestral residences of prominent Bollywood legends Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor into museums.
The total value of Dilip Kumar’s house has been fixed at Rs. 8 million 56 thousand. According to the document, the value of Raj Kapoor’s house has been set at Rs 5 million.
The land value of both the houses was fixed by the Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, while the cost of the structure of both the houses was fixed by C&W. The Archaeological Department forwarded the case to the Secretary of Culture for funding.
It may be recalled that in 2013, Dilip Kumar’s house was declared a national heritage site by the federal government.
