Senator Siraj-ul-Haq Monday laid the foundation stone of AlKhidmat Aghosh Home for the welfare of 210 orphans in Buner.
Prominent cardiologist Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik has donated 12 kanals of land for the project. The estimated cost is Rs. 14 crore.
Under Alkhidmat Foundation, the foundation stone of Aghosh Alkhidmat Home, equipped with modern facilities for the welfare of orphans, has been laid in Tororsk Buner at a cost of Rs. 14 crore.
The project will be completed in two years.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik, a prominent cardiologist from Torwarsak and former Central President of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA), has donated 12 kanals of land worth more than Rs. 6 crore for the foundation stone of Agosh Khidmat Home Buner.
In this regard, a prestigious ceremony was held in Torwarsak area of Buner which was presided over by Syed Ehsanullah Waqas, Central Senior Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq was the chief guest on the occasion.
Khalid Waqas, Provincial President of AlKhidmat Foundation, Jamaat Abdul Wasi, Provincial General Secretary Bakht Jahan Advocate, Former Speaker Provincial Assembly Muhammad Ahmed, prominent social figure from Karachi Shakir Siddiqui, Provincial General Secretary of AlKhidmat Muhammad Haleem Bacha, District Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Ghulam Mustafa Advocate, Former District Deputy Nazim, District President of AlKhidmat Shah Rom Bacha, Engineer Nasir Ali Khan, Prof. Dr. Abdul Malik and other dignitaries of the city participated in a large number.
Addressing the function, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that under the present system, the common man of the country is not safe and the dignity of minor girls and women is not safe here and the main reason for this is the government’s failure to implement the law.
He said that it is a failure to deal with the problems facing the country and the nation.
He stated that the only solution lies in the practical implementation of the Islamic way of life.
He said that the laws are the same in books and files but in spite of successive incidents, the ruling class is turning a blind eye to the implementation of the law.
Sirajul Haq said that on the one hand, there is the system of lawlessness and oppression while on the other hand, the committed workers of Alkhidmat are making history of service to humanity across the country.
Addressing the function, AlKhidmat Foundation Pakistan Senior Vice President Syed Ehsanullah Waqas and Provincial President Khalid Waqas said that AlKhidmat Foundation is the largest orphanage sponsorship organization in Pakistan which is sponsoring more than 13,500 orphans across the country.
They said that Alkhidmat believes that even in areas like Tharparkar, where clean drinking water has been provided, valuable services have been provided during the recent Corona epidemic where 70% of the Hindu community is living.
Later, Senator Sirajul Haq handed over a relief cheque worth Rs. 200,000 to the provincial president Khalid Waqas.
