Manzoor Pakhtun, the leader of the Pashtun Zarghoran movement, made the remarks on his Twitter account late yesterday after the arrest of another leading member of the movement, Mohsin Dawar, and strongly condemned the arrest of Dawar by the state.

Referring to Mohsin Dawar, Pashtun wrote that the arrest of a man who is himself fighting against terrorism and injustice and is also an active member of the Pakistani parliament shows the open hostility of the Pakistani army and the Punjab government towards the Pashtuns.

It should not be forgotten that a leading member of the Pashtun Salvation Movement, Mohsin Dawar, a Pashtun rights activist in the Pakistani parliament, was arrested at the airport in Balochistan yesterday afternoon and was not allowed to board the plane.

Mr Pashtun said if Mohsin Dawar was not released by tomorrow, they will stage strong protests against the tyrannical regime.

Askar Nadeem, who accompanied Mohsin Dawar on the trip, held a press conference immediately after Dawar’s capture. At the press conference, Nadeem Askar told reporters that a leading member of the Pashtun Salvation Movement had been forcibly arrested by Balochistan authorities. He did not allow the members of the movement to go to the Pray.

Mr. Nangyal, a member of the Pashtun Salvation Movement, told the website that they had come to the Chaman and Lugha areas to pay their respects to the Pashtun martyrs, inquire about the wounded, inquire about the brutal death of Ayatollah Baloch and meet with businessmen in the Lugha area. Mohsin Dawar, a leader of the Pashtun Salvation Movement and a member of the Pakistani parliament, was arrested by the Pakistani government.

It should not be forgotten that every member of the Pakistani Parliament has the right to question, win and visit the people. But the Punjab government does not give this right to Mohsin Dawar, a member of the Pashtun Zarghoni movement.
According to Nangyal, Punjab is openly hostile to the Pashtuns and they will never remain silent.

This is not the first time that the Pakistani government has arrested and imprisoned leading members of the Pashtun Salvation Movement without any guilt. He has been arrested several times or has been subjected to some other sanctions.
