PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Movement Muazam Butt invited all regional parties and movements including Pashtun Tahafuz Movements (PTM) to highlight the governance issues of Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Friday, Muazam Butt with tribal elders including Jangez Khan Mohmand appealed to all regional and national opposition parties to stage collective protest against the oppressive acts of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Government.

He stated that Pakistan Movement and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) rejects mine and mineral act 2019 from KP Assembly because the stack holders were not on board.

He added that Pakistan Movement is going to constitute empowerment commission for mines and mineral which would disclosed the corruption of mineral department.

He continued that mineral department has been issuing contract to blue-eyed contractors and that,s why the local contractors had been deprived from the fruit.

On the occasion tribal elder Jangez Khan argued that although 2017 mine and mineral act were not totally in public interest but 2019 act is completely against the interest of the locals because the committees constituted under this act had zero percent public representation
