North Waziristan: Banjari beheaded, two other teenagers targeted

The body of a decapitated man was found in Duttakhel Tehsil in North Waziristan. In another incident, two other teenagers were targeted.

Miranshah police (SHO) Ismatullah said the body was found yesterday in Mohammad Khel area of ​​Duttakhel Tehsil.

He said the man’s body was found with his head down.

He added that the body was brought to Miranshah Hospital and then identified as Qasim, who hails from Mohmand district.

Esmatullah said Qasim’s family had not registered a case.

One week ago, a similar incident took place in the Hamzuni area, three kilometers from Miranshah, the capital of North Waziristan, and a local youth was beheaded by unknown individuals.

No one has claimed responsibility for either incident.

A few months ago, a pamphlet was distributed in the area by the Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen threatening bankers or sellers of utensils and other items in the area.

Prior to Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, there had been incidents of beheadings in the area, which the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed were responsible for spying for the Taliban.

North Waziristan’s Mirali police say two boys, aged 16 or 17, were shot dead by unknown individuals in the area last night.

The incident took place in Khaisur Ali Khel area.

Police said unknown individuals arrived at the scene and shot dead the two boys, Tufail and Samiullah.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but his family has filed a lawsuit against unknown individuals, saying he had no animosity towards anyone.
