No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, He added
The dead were identified as Malik Noor Rehman, Malik Omar, Malik Mir Saadi and Malik Raza. They are all from the Khasur area of Mirali town.
Targeted attacks in Waziristan have intensified since 2019.
Locals have repeatedly protested and called on the government to provide security.
Meanwhile, local security officials said that they have taken strict measures for the security of the area.
In 2014, Pakistani forces launched a major military operation in Waziristan, leaving hundreds of thousands of people homeless and displaced.
Pakistani officials claim they have cleared the area of the Taliban, but the recent spate of targeted attacks has raised concerns among the population about the return of militants.
