KP Police write to govt for employing martyrs’ children

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP has issued a letter to the provincial government for recruitment of children of the police martyrs as assistant sub-inspectors in the police department.

According to KP Police spokesman Shahzada Kaukab Farooq, the letter mentioned that in 2015, the police recruited 300 children on the posts. Now there are 198 children of police martyrs, for whom the provincial government was asked to approve 200 vacancies to provide jobs to them.

The official communique issued to the government also presented certain suggestions about how the posts can be created filled to fulfill the longstanding demand of the families of police martyrs.
