PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan informed on Thursday that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police comprises 10,9,000 officers.
During a briefing in Peshawar, it was stated that the crime rate had considerably plummeted in the province during the last five years and 11 major gangs of land mafia have been busted.
Also, more than 3,000 officers were punished for negligence in various cases. In addition, the dispute resolution councils have been activated in the merged districts while attention has also been focused on eliminating crimes against children.
Discussing the technology use, it was stated that e-roznamcha and e-FIR have also been started as pilot project.
