The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has decided to open colleges.

In view of the Corona threat, the staff of all degree colleges in the province have decided to collect Corona data.

The Department of Higher Education has directed the principals of 36 degree colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide information of all the staff. Software has also been developed for the information of the staff.

According to sources, the colleges will not be reopened in September if most of the staff are affected. The government has announced but no SOPs have been prepared yet to reopen the educational institutions.

According to sources, the purpose of collecting data is to find out the number of people affected by Corona and those living in Quarantine and the number of deaths from Corona.

The Director IT, Department of Higher Education says that every principal will send all the information through software within 2 weeks.
