Pukhtun Nama Report

Government universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been told that exam papers will be viewed by teachers from other universities instead of their own.

This was despite reports of immoral demands and sexual harassment from some students at Gomal University in the province.

Students say this will have no effect on students, but it is still possible to prevent unethical demands and higher grades based on kinship.

Khan Bahadur, a political science student at Abdul Wali Khan University, If papers would be check from outsiders teachers so obviously whatever problems are faced by female students in a university, will be eliminated through this.

Dr Shakeel, general secretary of the Bacha Khan University Teachers’ Union, said there was a system of counting and recounting the number of papers in each university.

Public universities, on the other hand, face a number of issues that the provincial government is responsible for resolving.

According to him, there are no vice-chancellors in the universities, there are financial problems, the law of the 2012 has being violated and the government should take care of it.

“If a paper is viewed by a professor at another university and a student has reservations about it, will it be re-counted at another university or on its own? The student will be harmed.”

According to the study, the posts of Vice-Chancellor of Khyber Medical University, Bacha Khan University, Swabi University, Engineering University Peshawar and Women’s University Mardan are currently vacant in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
