According to the latest reports, Geo News reporter Ali Imran, who had obtained CCTV footage of Captain Safdar’s arrest, went to his house last evening to collect bakery items, but did not return home after hours. According to the details, Ali Imran left the house around 7 to 8 pm and told his family that he would be back in half an hour. A report of the disappearance has been submitted to the nearest police station.
According to Geo News sources, his wife and mother-in-law were present at the house. They said that he left his car and mobile phone at home and went to the nearest bakery store on foot but did not return. The families of Geo News Karachi bureau chief Faheem Ahmed Siddiqui and Ali Imran are currently in the police station and a report has been lodged with the concerned police station about their disappearance. It may be recalled that Ali Imran had obtained CCTV footage of the arrest of Captain Safdar from Awari Hotel.
