Four injured in remote-controlled bomb attack in Lower Dir

The attack targeted Khan Badshah, the central president of the Durrani nation, and injured his son

A remote-controlled bomb has exploded on a vehicle in Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, injuring four people, including Durrani tribe central president Haji Khan Badshah and his son.

According to police sources, the vehicle of Haji Khan Badshah, the central president of Durrani, was hit by a remote-controlled bomb at Burju Gut Maidan while he was on his way from Jandol to the Maidan to attend a jirga.

Haji Khan Badshah, his son Bilal, Abdullah and Syed Rehman son of Habib-ur-Rehman were injured in the blast and were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Timergara.

The condition of the injured is said to be out of danger. This was the second blast in two days. Last night, the house of PTI leader Malik Abdullah Shah was also targeted by an ID bomb.
