Child found dead,Police were unable to trace him in 16 days: Shergarh Mardan

MARDAN: A student of ninth level who had gone missing a 16 day ago his distorted body was found in the fields at Pir Sado village in the limits of Shergarh Police Station on Saturday evening, police and local sources said.
The sources said that Salman Khan son of Bahadur Khan, grade-9 student at the Government High School in Pir Sado village, went missing on 10th January after offering Jumma prayer.

Sources added that the family of the deceased student has no enmity with anyone. The family members searched her out everywhere but to no avail.

The disappearance of the student was also viral on social media. Sources added that his family members lodged his missing report at Shergarh police station.

Police detained some suspects during the investigation. However, no progress was made. Source added that after sixteen day after the disappearance of the student, on Saturday evening some children of the village were cutting grass in the fields and saw that a body is laying in the fields. The body was unrecognizable because the wild animals tearing up the body. However, the parents identified the body with clothes and shoes. The incident spread panic throughout the area.

Shergarh police collected the body pieces and taken to the Takhatbhai hospital for postmortem.
According  to the distorted position of the body, the exact cause of the murder could not be revealed.

Sources added that police also send body sample to Bacha Khan Medical Complex Mardan for DNA test. Receiving information about the incident, DPO Mardan Sajjad Khan along with ASP Takhatbhai circle and other official visited the spot,DPO also setup separate teams to investigate the case.

Locals of the area criticized the Police and said that Police were unable to trace the child in long period of 16 days although the family members of killed child had lodged the missing report on same day of missing in concern police station.
