PESHAWAR: Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial President Khalid Waqas said Tuesday that it is our moral duty and social responsibility to share our happiness with the poor and needy people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and deliver the sacrificial meat to them.
In a statement, issued from the provincial office of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khalid Waqas said that like every year, this year also Al-Khidmat Foundation has arranged Qurbani-fe-Sabilillah.
He said that Rs11,000 per cow share and Rs24,000 per goat has been fixed for the service.
Khalid Waqas said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, in the situation erected by Corona pandemic, the poor, the needy and the orphans should be made to share in the joys of Eid.
He said that the well off and rich people of the society should support the cause and service of Alkhidmat Foundation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and donate so that the sacrificial meat could be delivered to the poor and needy.
Khalid Waqas said that Al-Khidmat Foundation also collects sacrificial animals’ skins to help orphans, widows and the needy and appealed to the people to donate sacrificial animals’ skins to Al-Khidmat Foundation.
