Balochistan: Interior minister say government registered FIR against security forces on chaman massacre

On 29 November, two boys were killed and several others were injured when security forces opened fire on traders at the Chaman-Boldak gate Balochistan.

In response at Quetta, the Pakhtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) had staged a sit-in with the deadbody of a child matiullah on 30 November in front of Balochistan assembly.

Late night on Monday successful talks between PTM and Balochistan government were held Interior Minister Mir Zia Lango accepted all the demands and announced that FIR had been registered against security forces,Formation of Judicial Commission under the judges of Balochistan high court, Elimination of terrorism FIR against PTM members after Chaman rally on 27 November and lango also announced compensation for the victims.

It maybe recalled that PTM staged rally on 27th November and government had launched FIR against 33 PTM members including Manzoor Pashteen

The FC force has not yet commented on the incident but has previously said it would prevent the smuggling of illegal goods across the border.

At the end of July this year, seven people were killed and 22 others injured in clashes on the Chaman border, and a few days ago, the provincial government distributed financial aid to the families of the dead and injured.
