Youth named Awais Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district Charsadda was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Monday night in his Village Mulagujjar Union Council Showdagh.
On his funeral his classmate M.Shahzad told Pukhtun Nama that slain student was a 12th class student in Islamic College Peshawar. “He was a very capable young boy and always among the topper of his class”.He added.
His father told that he was studying at home someone called him, he left the books open and rush away from home”when he gets late we started searching him meanwhile his phone was not in reach”. He added.
He continued that in the morning, his body was found in the field. He was shot on the head and legs.
Meanwhile while police had registered First Information Report FIR against the unknown killers at Tangi police station Charsadda.
On the other hand political activists had called for protest on the occasion of the third day of Owais Shaheed.
The people of North Ashnagar have decided that on Saturday, December 9, at 10:00 will seek justice for slain Awais.
Pakhtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) activist Gul Pasand told Pukhtun Nama that All the political parties, lawyers, Teachers Associations, representatives of Charsadda, PTM and the Provincial Peace Committee of North Ashnagar announced their full support for the protest.
