ANP announces more rallies on the FIR against PDM’s Peshawar Jalsa

Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Aimal Wali announced further rallies after the government filed a case against the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally in Peshawar.

The ANP staged a protest against the registration of an FIR against the organizers of the PDM rally in Peshawar.

Addressing the rally, Awami National Party (ANP) president Aimal Wali said that they reject the FIR based on holding rally,”They used to think of Corona, but now they won’t And there will be more anti-government rallies in January”.He added

Aimal Wali said that he was not satisfied with the PDM Peshawar rally and named the Jalsa a pickle of different Parties, “We will hold a party rally in January”. He continued.

He said that ANP as a continuation of Khudai Khidmatgar Movement would soon hold a function on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.

The Anjuman-e- Islah ul-Afghan founded in 1921 converted to Khudai Khidmatgars (“Servants of God”) movement in 1929, led by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, nonviolently mobilized to oppose the British in India’s Northwest Frontier Province

It may be recalled that two days ago a case had been registered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government against the organizers of the November 22 PDM meeting in Peshawar.

The case has been registered against the district presidents and officials of the PDM parties and the FIR has been registered in Pahari Pura police station under the Epidemic Control and Emergency Relief Act.
