AKF two-day workshop concludes

PESHAWAR: A two-day media workshop under AlKhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held at Markaz-ul-Islami Peshawar.

The provincial President Khalid Waqas presided over the event, while Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.

At the workshop in connection with “Utilisation of Media Tools”, General Manager Media and Marketing of AlKhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Umair Idrees, senior journalists Yousaf Ali, Shahid Hamid, Lehaz Ali, Wadood Jan, Farrukh Shahbaz Waraich, Blogger Ismail Khan, JI Assistant GS Sohaib-ud-Din delivered lectures and shared their experiences.

Addressing the closing session of the two-day media workshop, Khalid Waqas, Provincial President of Alkhidmat and Special Guest Center Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that the importance of media has been evident in modern times but in modern times the field of journalism is rapidly changing and new tools of the media can be used to improve communication.

They said that the responsible persons associated with AlKhidmat media should go beyond politics and struggle indiscriminately in the spirit of pure humanity and should not let the footsteps of morality go unnoticed.

They added that Alkhidmat is a representative organization of all sections of the society and its workers should demonstrate their impartiality and professionalism in their cause and this should be reflected in your news, comments, posts and photos.

On this occasion, Khalid Waqas and Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan also distributed commemorative shields and certificates among the participants of the workshop for their outstanding services in media and social media.
