SWAT: The president AlKhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khalid Waqas said Friday that an Agoosh Home would be erected in Swat to support orphans in the district.
Khalid Waqas, President AKF KP, on the occasion of his organizational visit to Swat District, attended an important meeting of district officials at AlKhidmat Mingora.
Speaking on the occasion he said that the establishment of a diagnostic lab equipped with modern facilities in the district is also among the priorities.
The district president Swat and other officials of the district cabinet attended the meeting.
On this occasion, welfare of orphans under AlKhidmat Foundation in Swat district, welfare activities of AlKhidmat volunteers in natural calamities were reviewed and satisfaction was expressed in the meeting.
The district administration stressed on the need to set up a diagnostic lab in the district equipped with modern facilities for the welfare of people in Swat, including the establishment of Aghosh AlKhidmat Home for the welfare of orphans in the district.
Addressing the meeting, Khalid Waqas said that Swat is one of the most important districts in the province and the team of AlKhidmat Foundation Swat has done a great job in serving the people in earthquakes, floods, IDPs and other natural calamities.
He said that establishing Aghosh Home and Lab is one of among the priorities of AlKhidmat.
Khalid Waqas also appreciated the services of Swat Disaster Management Volunteers.
